Yesterday, Pontoon Brewing and 17 other awesome breweries participated in the annual Ponce de Leon Beer Festival. Not only was this a super fun time and great way to spread the Pontoon Lifestyle, it also benefited a great cause, Shriners Hospitals for Children. This amazing organization helps children with serious medical conditions, helping to cover the cost for those in need. This year, the Ponce Beer Festival raised thousands of dollars for Shriners, all the while the 1,500+ participants tasted awesome brews, rocked out to live music, and partied like rock stars for 5+ hours straight.
This was Pontoons’ first beer festival, and we were humbled and ecstatic by your interest in our brews! We floated our two kegs in less than 2 hours! We’ll be sure to donate a few extra next year! A big shout out to the warm reception we received from other local breweries. We spoke with brew crews from Wild Heaven, Strawn, Second Self, Eventide, Jekyll, Cherry Street, Monday Night, O’Dempseys, Blue Tarp, Red Hare and many more (sorry if I missed you, we were maybe enjoying the festival too much). Atlanta is truly lucky to be blessed with so many talented brewers and craft beer supporters. Check out some of the pics below of us talking to the Atlanta beer community about Pontoon.
